Joblio is a startup specializing in recruitment and consulting services, providing opportunities for applicants from developing countries to access jobs in Europe, Poland, and other countries.
The platform aims to offer access via mobile and web-based applications. The platform lets users view and apply for positions while allowing customers to post open positions. In addition, this platform allows candidates to view and apply for positions via mobile apps and web-based applications, while providing customers with access to available job opportunities.

With a focus on mobile and web applications, Joblio aimed to make it easier for individuals to access employment opportunities abroad and to bridge cultural gaps, providing valuable experiences for applicants and the companies that hire them.
We aim to build a mobile platform that serves applicants and customers, creating a unique experience that benefits everyone involved by providing a space where people can easily find jobs and view available positions.

The challenge was to build a platform that would accommodate both applicants and customers. To create a platform that would service those two elements, providing job opportunities and allowing people to see the available jobs posted.
My role was to help define the process, surface the needs of both user groups, and provide users with easy access via mobile, as they do on the web.
We conducted a comparative analysis of existing mobile apps and competitors in the job placement industry, which was essential to the job.
As a designer and business analyst, I prioritized identifying user needs and product requirements. Collaborating with teams in Poland and Ukraine, I worked on rules and regulations for other countries, conducted competitive analysis, and built service blueprints and user flows to guide the design. These artifacts were essential to creating a user journey from both the applicant's and the vendor's viewpoints.

We started exploring design possibilities by building wireframes based on the user flows to solidify a solution. Working with the preset design system, we developed a finalized design that provides users with the ability to create an account and apply for jobs immediately through a profile setting while also allowing job posts to be translated into multiple languages and currencies, resulting in a more seamless user journey for both the applicant and posting administrator.
The most significant hurdle we had to address was our bias as Americans. Removing preconceived notions and ideas of how people think and interact from the equation to build a sustainable journey that would serve our customers and clients across multiple countries. Working with our counterparts in these countries was vital to getting this right and making this product successful.
In conclusion, the Joblio app was launched on the Google Play Store in early 2021 as the first beta release for Android, with iOS to follow later. The MVP was released in the Apple Store for iOS in multiple European countries several months later as I finished the project.
